Entry Visa

1. Original passport valid for the period applied for (six months or one year) and having three blank visa pages.

2.Two photographs conforming to prescribed specifications.

3. Two visa application forms duly filled in and signed by the applicant.

4. Submission of either of the following documents as detailed below:-

(i) Copy of Indian passport or birth certificate or livret de famille to prove‘Indian origin’ in respect of foreigners of Indian origin or foreigners married to Indians/Persons of Indian origin (PIOs).

(ii) Copy of employment visa and livret de famille to prove relationship in respect of dependents of foreigners granted Employment Visa or 5-years Business Visa.

(iii) Original letter from Secretary, Auroville and other similar institutions such as Ramachandra Ashram etc. for yoga and vedic studies.

(iv) Letter from MHA or Indian Mountaineering Foundation in respect of applicants going for mountaineering.

(v) Letter from company/institution offering training/internship specifying emoluments etc. in respect of applicants going as trainees/interns in India.
