Journalist Visa

  • Original passport valid for at least six months and having three blank visa pages.
  • Two photographs conforming to prescribed specifications.
  • Two visa application forms duly filled in and signed by the applicant.
  • Work attestation letter from the employer (original) and a photocopy.
  • Authorization letter from XP Division, MEA or PIC Wing, Embassy of India, Harare in case applicant intends to go for making a film in India.
  • Applicant may be made aware that only a single entry visa is issued to all applicants belonging to this category with a maximum validity of 3 months.
  • Journalists who desire to work in Indian media organizations must apply for Employment Visas along with a specific undertaking from the employer.
